Overcoming Installation Challenges: HF20V VOCSorber® Successfully Commissioned

Another great team effort installing our new flagship High Flow carbon filter.

Following its official launch earlier this year, we have been receiving lots of interest in our new flagship High Flow carbon filter, the HF20V VOCSorber®, helped in no small part by its presence inside Hall 5 of the NEC at last week’s RWM exhibition.  Our latest customer installation, at an industrial site here in the UK, also included our involvement in the full design process for the ducting and connections, working with external contractors to ensure a successful project completion and start-up.

The physical installation of the filter itself was tricky, since an inconvenient lighting tower resulted in difficult access to the vessel’s plinth, and required the use of novel flexible flanges since the final position of the HF20V was not ‘square on’.

The customer will run the filter at around 40,000 m3/h and use it to remove VOCs and other odours from their process.

When the carbon is finally spent, we will simply exchange this vessel for a replacement unit and return the spent filter to one of our vessel servicing centres, where the carbon will be removed and recycled via our Regen-Sys® thermal reactivation process.

Another great team effort by our engineers, hauliers, contractors and customer!

The next opportunities to meet our commercial teams are coming up soon – Pollutec in Lyon (12th-15th October) and Aquatech in Amsterdam (2nd-5th November).  If you happen to be in France or the Netherlands on these dates, we would be delighted to meet you!
