The UK activated carbon industry came together earlier this month to pay their respects to a legendary figure who had worked in the sector for many decades.

Alan Orrell, our Export Sales Manager, sadly passed away in March, and his funeral took place on 6th April in Bolton.  Friends and family were joined by colleagues past and present, to pay their respects to Alan, who will be missed by everyone who knew him.

There was a great turnout from the Puragen team, plus representatives from his former employers Jacobi and Sutcliffe Speakman (now Chemviron).

It was a pleasure knowing and working with Alan over the years, and we pass on our heartfelt condolences to his wife Jen and their children Liam and Suzanne.
