We recently reported that we had been successful in our ISO45001 accreditation, recognising the importance we place on health & safety throughout our organisation.
This new ISO45001 accreditation completed the trio of ISO standards that we are proud to have achieved, the others being ISO9001 (quality) and ISO14001 (environmental).
Over the past weeks, we have been re-certified for both ISO9001 and ISO14001, a process that must take place every three years. After several days of detailed and rigorous investigation by an external auditor, at both our Wigan head office and our Immingham reactivation facility, we are delighted to share that we received ZERO non-conformances, truly a fantastic result.
The auditor complemented our systems, openness and methods of operations, and had kind words to say about everyone he met during the audit process. He described our ‘green’ reactivation facility, used for recycling spent carbons from drinking water facilities, as ‘impeccable’ and said our on-site laboratory was ‘superbly run and managed’. Praise indeed!
This excellent ISO audit result comes on the back of our recent Achilles UVDB audit, where we received 100% scores in all categories (quality, environmental, H&S, CSR) for the fifth consecutive year!
So, congratulations to everyone involved in these audits, as well as the broader team for their ongoing efforts in regards to quality, the environment as well as health & safety.
Particular praise goes to our Technical Manager, Matthew Webb, who manages our ISO systems and processes, as well as our Laboratory Team Leader Liz Balch, Production Manager Katie Ramsden and her team at the carbon reactivation facility in Immingham.
Keep up the good/safe/quality/clean work!!
