Puragen Filters Take the Pressure!

High Pressure Carbon Filters for Biomethane Facility.

Puragen has recently completed the installation of the carbon filtration units at a new biomethane site in the UK. The four high pressure carbon filters operate at 10 bar and remove any remaining H2S after the biogas upgrading unit, to ensure the biomethane is of a suitable quality for injection into the gas grid. Off-gases from the process are filtered through a separate carbon filter, a larger 12m3 unit called a Clean-Flo CS12.
