| Oxbow Activated Carbon has been acquired by a European investor group with over 15 years’ experience in the activated carbon business. We are delighted that the business has been recognized for its highly skilled global team of technical, sales and logistics professionals, together with its advanced processing facilities in Emlenton, Pennsylvania and Ternuezen, Netherlands. Under the new company name Puragen Activated Carbons, we will continually explore new markets and develop products to best support new and existing customers. Puragen Activated Carbons’ goal is to provide superior cost effective solutions using our vast experience in the activated carbon industry combined with the resources and vision of our new owners. With the support of the new owners, we plan to build the business over the long term creating a world class specialty activated carbon production and R&D platform. |
