Leading supplier of activated carbons and services, Puragen, is pleased to announce the arrival of Nick Garrett as the latest addition to the company’s commercial team, effective 1st October 2018. Nick’s title will be Business Development Manager and in this role he will report in to Phil Walters, Sales Manager – UK & Ireland.
Nick holds a degree in Chemistry from Cardiff University and has many years of commercial and technical experience in the field of activated carbons and the filtration of water and air, including working with the major UK water utility companies.
Commenting on his new role, Nick Garret said, “I am excited to be starting my new role with Puragen, at what is clearly an important stage in the company’s development. With the recent start-up of the ‘green’ reactivation kiln, for treating spent carbons from drinking water facilities, and the huge expansion of the ‘amber’ regen capacity for industrial spent carbons, Puragen is in a very strong position to develop its business further and l look forward to playing my part in that growth ”.
