Steve Fells joins Puragen group as Head of IT.
We would like to extend a warm welcome to the latest addition to the Puragen management team. Steve Fells joined us at the start of December as Head of IT for the joint organisation.
Previously Systems Operations Manager for our parent company Invica Industries, Steve was promoted to Head of IT specifically looking after the fast-growing activated carbons side of Invica’s business, where he reports to Puragen CFO Mike Twist. In this new role, Steve will be responsible for managing the delivery of all aspects of IT and telephony across the Puragen businesses in the UK, Europe and the US.
Steve has worked with the Invica group for over four years, based out of the group’s HQ in Westthorpe, Sheffield. He holds a Master’s Degree in Computer/IT Administration and Management and lives in nearby Rotherham with his wife and two sons, one of whom currently works in the Homefire Call Centre. Outside of work, he is a lifelong supporter of Rotherham United, and was also a junior football coach when his sons were younger.
Steve’s first key activity in his new role was to attend the Puragen Christmas party, held earlier this month at the Haydock Racecourse near our Wigan sales office, so the timing of his job move was perfect!
