Mobile Filters – Our carbon vessel service business continues to go from strength to strength.
As a result of this growth, we have recently added a new tipping trailer to our fleet. These tipping trailers are designed to manoeuvre our larger Clean-Flo® mobile carbon vessels, transporting them safely and efficiently between our vessel service centres and customer sites, where the units can be delivered/exchanged in a matter of minutes.
This two-axle variant is particularly useful for accessing locations that are more restricted in terms of available space, typically biogas/biomethane facilities and some landfill gas installations.
The trailer will get branded in the coming weeks, but we thought we would get a picture of it now while it is still so pristine!
Our mobile filters, engineered and built in-house by Puragen Icon, are supplied on a rental/service basis, and represent a convenient ‘plug & play’ solution to facilitate customers’ demanding purification challenges. Being rental units, they avoid CAPEX on the customer side. They are also modular, meaning that customers can add more units if the flow rate or contamination level increases, or vice versa, of course. Once the carbon is ‘spent’ the entire vessel is swapped out for a fresh unit, with the used vessel returned to one of our Service Centres where the carbon is removed and sent for recycling at our thermal reactivation facility. Our experienced Site Services team are available to assist with carbon vessel exchange, if required.
The use of our dedicated means that no cranes are required to install or remove filters, adding to the overall flexibility of the Regen-Sys process and reducing costs and manpower requirements on the customer’s side.
Two types of Clean-Flo mobile carbon filter are available – AquaSorber units are used for water treatment, including potable water applications; VOCSorber units are used for gas phase purification, including odour abatement, VOCs removal and biogas scrubbing. Further information on all of these applications can be found on the relevant pages of this website. Alternatively, or to discuss a particular project in more detail, please contact us via this link.
